The Boram-Patamda region of Adityapur city located in the suburb of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. This scheme was started in the year 2021.

The source of water for this scheme is the Subarnarekha River

Key components of the project:

  • Intake well and pump house
  • RCC gangway measuring 120 meters
  • 20 MLD capacity conventional WTP (Water treatment plant)

The project also includes the construction of 13 ESRs (Elevated service reservoir), one RCC ground service reservoir, staff quarters and protective compound wall. Additionally, it encompasses infrastructure development such as National Highways and railway crossings, an approach road, and comprehensive distribution networks for both raw and clear water. To ensure effective operation, the project involves the installation of vertical turbine and centrifugal pump motors, along with five years of dedicated operation and maintenance

Aim of the project

  • To enhance rural water access and includes a detailed survey, as well as the construction of several essential facilities
  • This initiative is set to significantly improve water supply and infrastructure in the Boram-Patamda block
  • Facilitate clean drinking and sanitation water to around 1.5 lakhs habitants and 29,242 households
